Bathroom and toilet adaptations

At Hereford Mobility, we have the largest mobility aid showroom in Hereford and our staff are experienced in advising customers with additional needs. In many cases specialist equipment can be bought to help with your needs. However, in some situations the home environment has to be re-designed, sometimes with building work necessary. We have our own in house skilled builders who are highly experienced in this type of work. They are able to carry out a full range of home adaptations from the fitting of grab rails right through to wet rooms or even garage conversions.

Wetrooms

Almost any space or existing bathroom can be turned into a shower room or level access wetroom to meet your needs. You can choose which tiles and fittings you want and then just sit back and let our team take care of everything.

Bathing

We can help you choose the best bath option for both you and your carers. Examples include baths with doors, variable height baths, and baths with integral hoists and seats.

Walk In Baths

Walk in baths are a perfect solution when stepping over the side of a conventional bath becomes more challenging. You retain the traditional lying-down bathing position, but access is so much easier. When there’s only one bath at home, this is a great option for the whole family. With a footprint that matches the regular bathtub shape, slotting it into your bathroom’s layout is simple.
