How does it work?
- Our dealers will help you choose a scooter or powered wheelchair that meets your needs, and we include our worry-free package - everything from breakdown cover to insurance.
- We receive all or part of your mobility allowance for the length of the agreement (usually three years) and lease the product to you. Prices start from as little as £12 per week. You'll also need to pay a £100 Non-refundable Payment if you're not an existing customer.
And at the end of the agreement, we'll send you a £100 End of Contract Bonus. You then give back the product and choose a brand new one.

The Motability scheme is set up to help you get mobile by exchanging some of your disability allowances for a Mobility Scooter or Powerchair.
Hereford Mobility is one of only a few dealers who can provide custom-built prescriptive powerchairs, prescribed by our expert assessment team. Our extensive product list means we can provide the perfect solution to your mobility problems. We also have a range of scooters available through the Motability scheme.
If you receive the higher rate of mobility allowance, you are likely to be eligible to purchase a mobility scooter on the Motability Scheme By choosing this option, you benefit from Motability's worry-free package, which includes servicing, repairs, insurance, and break-down assistance for the duration of the lease period.
To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you need to receive one of the following mobility allowances and you must have at least 12 months of award length remaining.
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
